Social Cause

Our group regularly works towards upliftment of the socially weak sections of society living in the surrounding villages and in the vicinity of our plants and also contributes by providing drinking water, better roads, support to various education initiatives, upgrading of healthcare, sports and other youth related activities.
We are also actively engaged in supporting various Drug De-addiction programmes in various parts of the state. We work with a team of doctors, educationists, civil citizens and various schools and colleges across State to create awareness against this menace.

The Group has worked consistently to provide opportunities and amenities to young budding sportspersons of the state to compete at the state and national levels. As a social endeavour, we organise tournaments on annual basis, especially in cricket and golf.

Trumboo Group is committed to acting as a responsible business house especially in terms of environmental considerations. Some of the strategies and steps we have undertaken for a better environment are mentioned below.

We are having the state of the art modern pollution control equipment’s like Reverse Air Bag House (RABH), ESP and various other high-efficiency bag dust collectors have been installed in all the sections of the plant to prevent environment hazards. Besides this online dust monitoring systems have been installed to continuously check dust emission levels during plant operations.

Our hospitality sector has installed state of the art Sewage Treatment Plants (STP’s) and is also planning to highlight the usage of water with responsibility in its properties. Furthermore, the construction of the hotels is done in a manner to minimise carbon footprint in regards to CFC emissions.

TCI has been working constantly to save one of the iconic lakes in the state – The Dal Lake. We have taken an initiative to educate people about the importance of this water body and highlight our responsibility towards this cause.

A very strong and our favourite ‘Plantation drive’ was initiated a few years back and until now we are pleased to state that we have planted more than 50,000 trees in various parts of the valley.
